Growing up surrounded by mountains and lakes, Hale developed an early affinity for the natural world. This connection inspired him to capture the beauty of nature in his compositions, using field recordings from secluded forests, rushing rivers, and tranquil seascapes. He began experimenting with ambient soundscapes in his early twenties, weaving these natural sounds with synthesized textures and subtle melodies to create immersive sound worlds that echo the moods and mysteries of his surroundings.
